New Year's Challenge 2025

Challenge duration
Description
New Year's Eve performances have a long tradition and we are proud to give them a modern twist. With our New Year's Challenge, you'll see where all over Europe there are hill walks on 1 January. Anyone can take part as you choose which mountain, hill or knoll to climb. The moment you upload a peak photo to your climb via the Horobraní app, it will appear on the New Year's climb map!
Want to see your climb on the map? Just take a photo of yourself at the summit on January 1, 2025 and upload it via the Horobraní app to the web. Don't forget to sync the photo (via the SYNC button in the app), either directly in the field via data or at home on wifi! All photos that users upload to their climbs made on the 1st of January will appear on the map. This is what the New Year's Challenge looked like in 2024.
Rules
To complete this challenge, you must follow the general rules.
To celebrate New Year's Eve, every year we open the Premium version to everyone who wants to try it for free for a month! Just use the code HORAMZDAR and enter it either when you register or when you log in to the My Premium section of the website.
This way, during the month you can try out all the features, complete challenges, track events and leaderboards, view stories, create groups, and see your stats. The voucher is valid for any user who has never used this monthly voucher. After the month is up, all your entries and outputs will remain there, you will have access to your profile, the premium features will be limited, and you will not be able to continue completing challenges until you renew your Premium.
Contest
Take a picture with the New Year's Challenge poster and show that you believe in the motto "As for the New Year, so for the whole year!" We will randomly draw one of the photos and the author of the photo will receive a book of Thousand Meter Peaks and a map.
Before you go to the top on the 1st of January, print out the poster and compete with us for a book about the Czech Thousands, which you can download here:
