Challenge duration
Description
After months of preparation, we are proud to present the Experience Norway challenge, where you will discover and admire breathtaking views, fjords, glaciers, forested peaks, rock walls and other natural wonders. This travel challenge is designed for anyone going to Norway for a short holiday, as well as repeat visitors looking for inspiration on what beautiful things can be seen from the mountaintops.
The purpose of the challenge is to offer you a quality selection of peaks worth visiting. We have included 40 peaks of varying difficulty spread all over Norway, but we have tried to make logical units. To complete the challenge, you need to visit at least 5 peaks from the selection, which will fulfill the first level of Tourist. The second level Traveller is for visiting 10 peaks and the third level Adventurer is for visiting all 15 peaks. We're not averse to adding a 4th level Expert, but that's by special request :-). The challenge is unlimited in time.
A few words about Norway
Stretching along the coast of Scandinavia , Norway is known for its wild and rugged landscape, shaped by deep fjords, dense forests and, above all, imposing mountain ranges. The Nordic landscape is simply unique and offers nature lovers endless opportunities for hiking and other wilderness adventures. The most prominent mountain area is Jotunheimen, literally the "home of the giants", which hides the highest mountain in Scandinavia - Galdhøpiggen (2469 m). This area, like the Rondane, Dovrefjell and Lyngen Alps, is a paradise for hiking, climbing and exploring the pure, untamed nature that is a deeply rooted part of Norwegian life and culture.

About the author of the selection of peaks
The peaks have been very carefully selected for you by Martin Karlik, who simply loves Norway and has adapted his whole life to his passion. In his youth he studied Norwegian at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University and since the late 1990s he has been professionally involved with Norwegian tourists in Prague, from guiding in Prague to full service incoming travel agency (both for individual clients and larger groups). He visits Norway regularly and very much enjoys it, with the total number of visits already approaching 30. He has gradually travelled to almost all parts of Norway and is therefore as familiar with the Norwegian landscape and culture as few people. Amongst the Horobraniks, we could hardly find a better writer for our call for the Norwegian peaks.
If you would like to contact Martin, here is his website www.martin-praha.cz.
Thanks Martin!
