Challenge duration
Description
Following the successful launch of this challenge last year, we’re running it again this year. This time, you have the whole summer holiday to complete it, and the further you travel, the longer the line you draw will be. What matters is the distance as the crow flies between the individual peaks you visit, which is added up cumulatively.
The aim of the challenge, which this year runs from 1 July to 31 August 2026, is to gradually accumulate at least 1,000 km as the crow flies. The distance increases with each subsequent climb, with the distance from the last climb to the current one always being counted. For higher levels, you’ll probably need to go on holiday abroad. Whether you’re collecting kilometres at home or abroad, it’s sure to be fun. Watch as the line between your hikes takes shape and the kilometres tick up nicely.
