Lowland 2026

Challenge duration

1. 1. 2026–31. 12. 2026

Description

The goal of the challenge is to visit at least 100 different peaks with an altitude of up to 400 metres above sea level. This challenge is primarily intended as encouragement for those who do not have majestic mountain peaks around them, but are still enthusiastic mountaineers. We have newly added three levels for those mountaineers who want to work up a sweat: Level
1 - 100 hills Level
2 - 200 hills Level
3 - 300 hills

The challenge may seem simple because you are climbing "small hills", but the opposite is true. A true Lowlander is a seasoned individual who is not afraid to push through brambles, rapeseed and bushes, does not shy away from mud so thick that they lose their shoes in it, and takes pure joy even from peaks that may not offer the most impressive views.

In the Progress tab, you will see all the peaks you have visited with the date of your ascent, and you will also see them on the map.

Rules

To complete this challenge, you must follow the general rules.

Hills with an altitude of up to 400 metres above sea level (inclusive) can be visited in the Czech Republic and abroad. It is very important to note that it is forbidden to climb hills at times of the year when your visit could destroy crops and other plants, disturb grazing livestock or disturb wildlife during the nesting season. It is therefore ideal to fulfil the Lowlanders mainly in the winter months, when the mud in the fields is frozen, livestock are not grazing and plants are not growing.
