Spring Finale 2026

A very popular meet-up event where you can meet and get to know fellow mountain enthusiasts, mainly from the local area but also from further afield. Through this one-day event, we aim to encourage people with a shared interest in hiking and the mountains to meet and connect.

It’s a regional gathering of Horobraníks, where you’ll meet up with others at midday sharp at a specific spot. It’s like a date on a hill and a chance to meet new people. Who turns up and which peak they choose will be a surprise right up to the last minute – simply the magic of the moment. 

We’ll meet on the hills on Sunday 17 May at midday = 12:00, though everyone will be at a different spot. There are 50 possible peaks to choose from! Save your peak in the app between 11:30 and 12:30, which will also count towards this special challenge! After all, you can only do it once a day, and if you log in at a different time, you won’t complete the challenge :-).

We’ve chosen this year’s locations very carefully. They’re spread out fairly evenly; most are in the Czech Republic, but there are a few in Slovakia, Poland and Austria too. It’s a mix of well-known spots, such as castles or lookouts, and quiet spots with a shelter and a lovely view. Which one you prefer is up to you.  

You don’t need to bring anything at all to the meet-up; just turn up at the right time and place. But if you bring a snack for the others, the conversation will flow more easily.
