New Year's Challenge 2026

New Year's climbs have a long tradition, and we are proud to give them a modern twist. With our New Year's Challenge, you can see where people across Europe are climbing hills on 1 January. Anyone can participate, because you choose which mountain, hill or hillock to climb. As soon as you upload a photo of the summit to the Horobraní app, it will appear on the map of New Year's climbs!

Want to see your climb on the map? Just take a photo at the summit on 1 January 2026 and upload it to the website via the Horobraní app.  Add the photo to your climb in the app and then synchronise it (using the SYNCHRONISE button in the app), either directly in the field via data or at home via Wi-Fi! All photos that users upload for their climbs on 1 January will appear on the map. This is what the New Year's challenge in 2025.

To celebrate New Year's resolutions, we are opening up the Premium version to anyone who wants to try it out for free for a month! Just use the code HORAMZDAR and enter it either during registration or after logging in to the website in the My Premium section.

During the month, you can try out all the features, complete challenges, follow events and rankings, view stories, create groups, and view your statistics. The voucher is valid for any user who has never used this monthly voucher before. After the month expires, all your records and outputs will remain here, you will have access to your profile, premium features will be limited, and you will not be able to complete challenges until you renew your Premium membership.
