Mountain filler
Challenge duration
Description
The aim of the challenge is to visit at least one peak from each altitude throughout the year. However, we evaluate only the last two places and do not look at hundreds and thousands. On the progress tab, you'll see your 10x10 chart, which you'll gradually light up, and you'll also see how many peaks of that altitude you've already visited. From left to right in the table, the units gradually increase, and from top to bottom, the tens increase again.
Some examples:
- Jested, Czech Republic 1012 m above sea level -> 12
- Libek, Poland 13 m above sea level -> 13
- Νήσος Νίσι, Cyprus 8 m above sea level -> 8
- Pico del Teide, Spain 3715 m above sea level -> 15
To find the peaks you missed in the table we have two main tips.
- Search by altitude on the map. This doesn't work perfectly yet and we will improve it to make it more usable.
- Ask the community on Facebook. I'm sure someone will be happy to give you advice on where to find a nice 25 in your area.
- Check the maps.
Let's do it, the table itself is not green!
Rules
To complete this challenge, you must follow the general rules.
Peak databases may not have the correct elevations and we will adjust them throughout the year based on feedback. We calculate the current elevation of the peak in the table, not the elevation the peak had at the time of the visit. Therefore, check the elevation table regularly to make sure everything fits at the end of the year.
However, if you complete the challenge once and a peak happens to fall out due to a correction, then completing the challenge will not be deleted.
