Challenge duration
Description
The main aim of the challenge is to offer remote support and comfort to all those amongst us who are battling a serious illness, but whose spirits still wander through the mountains in their thoughts. The challenge will take place on Sunday 31 May, when we’ll head out into the hills especially for them and, through photos taken at the summit, send a message that we’re thinking of them. We are organising this challenge for the fifth year running to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis, the international day for which falls on 30 May.
❤
If you want to take part in the challenge, climb any peak on 31 May 2026, take a summit photo featuring a heart or a sunflower (the symbol of multiple sclerosis) and upload the photo to your climb record. The heart or sunflower can be depicted in any way your imagination allows. This will let others know they are not alone.
You’ll earn bonus points for the challenge by visiting any peak for the first time at any point on Sunday 31 May.

The challenge was initiated by Horobraník Vanellus (Jaroslava and Michaela) and supported by the Roska Union, which has been helping people with multiple sclerosis and their loved ones for 30 years. And we’re delighted to be part of it again this year.
