The Hory.app mobile application is free and available for both iOS and Android. The app is used to record visits to mountains using your phone's GPS. You'll find many other interesting features on the web.
Three simple steps are all you need for endless fun.
Choose any mountain in your vicinity within the app. It's probably much closer than you think!
Open the app, your location will be verified using GPS, and a button to save your visit will appear.
Record your visit, add a photo, and rate your experience. After logging in, everything automatically syncs to the web, and you'll never lose your visits!

The most used app on my phone. Seriously, it changed my life. 🙂 Incredibly addictive, even though I didn't give it much of a chance at first. Discovered during COVID as an alternative to geocaches, we gradually picked out hills around our residence and then, thanks to Hory.app challenges, started discovering the beauty of mountains even with our neighbors across the borders. Yes, the entire Hory.app mobile application and basic features on the web are completely free. Challenges and advanced features are available on the web in premium version.
At the mountain and within its 50m radius, a button to save your visit will become available in the Hory.app mobile app. After clicking the button, your visit will be saved, and the mountain icon on the map will change to yellow. If you are online, the visit will automatically sync to our server, and you'll never lose it.
Yes, you can save your visits even when you have no signal or internet. You must have the offline mountain database downloaded for each country where you want to visit mountains (we will guide you through this during Hory.app installation). You can also download offline map data, allowing you to function completely without internet in the field. You mainly need an internet connection to synchronize your visits and photos.
The Hory.app mobile app primarily serves as a tool for verifying your location in the field using GPS and for saving visits. The app contains many useful features for personal statistics, is ad-free, and completely free in its entirety. The mobile app remains the same whether you have premium or not. Full functionality, including premium features, is only available on the web.
The Hory.app project was created independently of grants, investors, and external sources. Furthermore, we highly value that the application contains no ads. We have always operated solely on the direct financial support of our satisfied users – through the premium version and purchases in our e-shop.
